A children’s play with live music by Teatribuss CLEVER ANTS AND THE OLD DEVIL   Playwright: Erki Aule Director and dramatizer: Marko Mäesaar Music and songs: Inga Lunge and Toomas Lunge Movement director: Jaanika Tammaru (Must Kast) Set designer: Triinu Pungits Visuals: Kuldar Leement   Cast: Toomas Lunge, Helgur Rosental, Marko Mäesaar   Duration: 45 minutes Premiere: 22 February 2025 at Teatri Kodu   If Clever Ants were a hardworking man, all the work in the world would have been done a hundred years in advance by now. But while working for the Old Devil, Clever Ants turns out to be a shirker and a dodger, a liar and a cheat, and a thief who makes off with gold. It seems that instead of doing the work he agreed to do, his goal is to maliciously cause the Old Devil more and more harm. The Old Devil does see through Clever Ants’s trickery, but lets the game play out… Who will come out on top in the end? Will hard work and sincerity prevail, or laziness and dirty tricks? Since the children are the ones who have watched the whole story unfold, they get to decide how the performance ends.
