An exhibition in Mustvee’s urban space presents archaeological finds from Lake Peipus and introduces the region’s settlement history spanning thousands of years. Archaeologists have found nearly 1,000 objects in the Rannapungerja area, shedding light on the settlement history of the northern shore of Lake Peipus. The exhibition surveys human activity from the Stone Age to the Middle Ages, and for the first time a small selection of the area’s most remarkable finds is also on display. The exhibition includes objects from different periods, providing an overview of the development of ancient life and culture in the region.
