“A Hundred and Counting!” is a concert series dedicated to mixed choirs that have kept the choral tradition alive for a hundred years or more. At the series’ first concert, mixed choir Endla from Pärnu and mixed choir Raudam from Tallinn will meet and join their voices. Beautiful choral works from Estonia and around the world will be performed—music offering both the pleasure of recognition and new discoveries, creating a bright mood on an October evening. You will also hear amusing interludes, and together we will stroll along the timeline, taking a look at the choirs’ colorful and distinguished journeys. Conductors Kristi Karro and Kadri Ristimets will lead the choirs, and Marta Karjane will perform on the oboe.
