Kontsertetendus "Viini viisid" Eesti mõisates

The concert performance “Viennese Melodies” takes you on a musical journey to one of Europe’s most dazzling music capitals. The concerts take place in beautiful manor houses, where the historic atmosphere, music and elegance come together to create a special whole. Versatile musicians and actors Katrin Lehismets and Peeter Kaljumäe bring together singing, piano music, witty stories and period elegance on stage to reveal the rich treasure trove of music created in Vienna. Works by Mozart, Salieri, Beethoven, Schubert, Alma Mahler, Webern, Lehár, Strauss and other great composers will be performed. Alongside the music, intriguing questions and humorous anecdotes come to life: did Salieri really murder Mozart, what did the deaf Beethoven recommend to Rossini, and how did Vienna’s monarchs live? The performance also looks at the remarkable legacies of Empress Sissi and Alma Mahler. Katrin Lehismets’s international musical experience and Peeter Kaljumäe’s theatrical storytelling create a stylish, meaningful and entertaining experience on stage. Come enjoy the manor-house setting, humour and Viennese elegance!
