Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026, Unic Moto takes viewers on a journey through half a century of Estonian motorcycle culture, recent history and the stories of colourful people. This documentary by Sterotek Film is about old motorcycles, but even more about the people behind their handlebars—friendship, a thirst for freedom and a passion that has united several generations. The film’s road-movie-like backbone is a ride from Tallinn to Vilnius marking the 35th anniversary of the Baltic Way. The film also opens the garage door to a world that may be hard for an outsider to understand: why restoring a motorcycle takes years or even decades, why a rare part is sometimes sought from halfway around the world, and what drives people to return to the garage time and again. It is more than just a repair; it is a desire to keep machines, memories and stories alive.
