Kaassõltuvuse tugigrupp
Lai tn 15a, Pärnu, 80010 Pärnu maakond, Eesti
Codependency often affects people who live with or are in a close relationship with someone with an addiction (alcohol, drugs, gambling, etc.). A codependent may be a spouse, mother, father or another family member. Often, without realizing it, people enable and sustain a family member’s addiction. The aim of the group work is to understand how your behaviour affects you and your loved one with an addiction, and to learn to change your behaviour. The group work helps build coping skills and find ways to improve your own emotional well-being. Location: Sensus Centre for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Lai 15 A, Pärnu. Time: from 5 October to 16 November, Mondays, 16:00–18:00, seven consecutive sessions. Group leader: Eidi Elisabeth Aidla, supervisor-coach and peer counsellor. Places are limited. Before joining the group, the group leader will meet each participant individually. The activity is partly funded by Pärnu City Government. For information or to express interest, please call 5212928 or write to parnu@sensus.ee so that we can arrange the first individual meeting.
