Come uncap freshly harvested honeycombs, spin out the honey, strain it and jar your own authentic Pärnu County honey! In this workshop, you’ll get a unique hands-on experience under the guidance of a beekeeper and take home up to 3 kg of honey you have jarred yourself. As a bonus, you can enjoy the unforgettable aromas of honey, wax and propolis in the bee house, released as the honeycombs are processed. We’ll also talk about how honey ripens in the hive, what cappings wax is, and how a honeycomb gets its shape and appearance. The workshop is suitable for children too, so come with family or friends. If you’re interested and arrange it in advance, you can also take the honeycombs out of the hive yourself.
