At the museum’s working farm, we introduce visitors to Estonian food traditions, the influence of the seasons on the farm table, the journey food takes from the barn and garden to the kitchen, and C. R. Jakobson’s ideas about farming and food. In addition to exploring the journey of food, visitors can also learn about Kurgja Farm and its inhabitants. We play role-playing games related to farm life, taste farm foods, and enjoy a hearty Estonian lunch. The program lasts up to 3 hours and is also suitable for children.
