The Paadrema Holy Trinity Church of the Estonian Apostolic Orthodox Church was built in 1889 according to the designs of architect K. Nymann. On land expropriated from Paadrema Manor, a church of fieldstone and brick was built, with a bell tower, a large main dome and a corner tower with four onion domes. The builders were master craftsmen from the island of Muhu, and the foreman was Feodor Revka. The church was designated a state cultural monument in 1998. Both the building itself and its interior deserve protection, including its unique, beautifully designed ceiling and iconostasis. Interesting fact: the writer Karl Ristikivi was baptized in Paadrema Church.
