Opened in 1996, Audru Museum is located in the former steward’s house of Audru Manor. The permanent exhibition in the house’s attic hall presents the way of life of the people of Audru over the centuries through writings, monuments and objects, including antique embroidery, school supplies, wooden and birch-bark household utensils, and much more. The manor house itself is of particular interest, having been restored to its original form, including its rare pantaloon chimneys on the upper floor. Larger exhibits—threshing and agricultural machinery—are housed in the former manor’s vodka cellar, now an outdoor museum. You can also explore the beautiful Audru Manor complex, manor park and Audru Church.
