More descriptions
The Audru Manor complex, established in the 19th century, includes a park ideal for a peaceful walk and picnic. The park has been under heritage protection since 1958. Today it also has a modern song stage. Initially, a small Baroque park was laid out behind the manor house, but little of it has survived. The park extends along both banks of the Audru River; on the right bank there is also a woodland park with a memorial to those who died in the Second World War. The damming of the river created a winding recreational area with islands and a pond, crossed by no fewer than four handsome bridges. If possible, also visit Audru Museum; a church and arboretum are nearby.
