Teine emme
Oscari-võitja Jessica Chastain (“It: Chapter Two“, “The Eyes of Tammy Faye “) kehastab kaht tegelast: nii Bela ema kui ka “Teist Emmet“. Jay Duplass (“Industry“) mängib Bela isa ning Arabella Olivia Clark (“The Housemaid“) Belat. Lisaks neile teevad kaasa Dichen Lachman (“Severance“), Arian Moayed (“Succession“) ning ekraanilegend Karen Allen (Indiana Jonesi saaga). Õudusfilmi “Teine emme“ lavastajaks on Rob Savage (“Host“, “The Boogeyman“). Stsenaariumi autor on WGA auhinna võitja Nathan Elston (“Succession“); filmi aluseks on Josh Malermani (“Bird Box“) New York Timesi bestseller “Incidents Around the House“.
Ingliskeelne kirjeldus
From producer James Wan, one of the most influential architects of modern horror, and Blumhouse Atomic Monster, the studio behind such blockbuster hits as The Conjuring and Insidious, comes a terrifying new horror thriller. Directed by rising genre filmmaker Rob Savage, the film takes audiences on a terrifying trip into the darkening world of a young girl, Bela, who forms a relationship with a sinister entity in her home that looks uncannily like her own mother. Academy Award® winner Jessica Chastain (It Chapter Two, The Eyes of Tammy Faye) stars in a dual role as Bela’s mother and as “Other Mommy,” a manifestation of the entity. Jay Duplass (Industry) plays Bela’s father, while Arabella Olivia Clark (The Housemaid) stars as Bela. The supporting cast includes Dichen Lachman (Severance), Arian Moayed (Succession) and screen legend Karen Allen (Indiana Jones films). Other Mommy is directed by Rob Savage (Host, The Boogeyman) from a screenplay by WGA Award winner Nathan Elston (Succession), based on the New York Times bestselling novel Incidents Around the House by Josh Malerman (Bird Box).
